After strategy and MMORPG games, Blizzard tries to take the gaming world by storm with Overwatch, a multi-player FPS game which is a mixture of two different genre, where in one hand you have an object based shooter and in another a MOBA, the game is designed to be very similar to Team Fortress 2, but with new abilities, gameplay mechanics and action packed moments. The story in this game is interesting and truly impressive, mainly because it showcases a future of our world where conflict is at a global scale and where the only people that can help are included in the Overwatch movement.

The gameplay for this game is action packed and you will usually have various objectives and the squad based combat is exemplary. There are more than a dozen characters to be had here and each one has its own set of unique abilities that add up in order to create a very interesting, fun and action packed experience that you will enjoy for sure.

Right off the bat you will see that there are four main character roles, which are offence, defence, support and tank characters. You will need to team up with other players in order to get the best possible experience and results. Something like this will definitely offer you cool gameplay mechanics, but at the end of the day it can also deliver an astounding way to eliminate enemies and bring in front extraordinary new ways to play.

Even if there are only 2 game modes for the time being, both of these are a lot of fun and they do deliver some extraordinary moments that you will enjoy.

An interesting thing is that maps are created with real life locations in mind and that really takes the immerse factor to new heights. The game is not only bringing in front new, exciting gameplay ideas but it also delivers a fresh new business method. Instead of using in-app purchases and other similar stuff, Overwatch makes the experience more interesting by requiring you to pay a fee in order to access the entire content.

This way you can play the game without restrictions and access all characters, which is really nice and offers a more incredible way to enjoy your time with the game. Graphically Overwatch takes a more serious approach when compared to titles such as TF2 for example, but it does retain a little of the fun that comes from the cartoon graphics. After the beta we were able to see that just like most other Blizzard games, this one is also very optimized and it indeed delivers a lot of value, which is what matters the most.
