When Batman learns that ScareCrow wants to take over Gotham and he has most of the evildoers as his allies, our hero wants to do all in his power in order to save the city. This is basically the plot of Batman: Arkham Knight, however just like the name suggests there’s a lot more to it, with the Arkham Knight being a pivotal portion of the game.
While the ability to explore the game world in all of its glory is common in the entire series, there’s no denying that Batman: Arkham Knight delivers the ultimate version of Gotham. But at the same time we also have the opportunity to use many of the Batman gadgets we all know and love, many of them returning from the previous titles in the series. You also get to play with some new stuff such as the remote controlled batarang and at the same time you also have a voice synth that allows you to imitate the voice of other characters. The game does a great job when it comes to immersing you into the Batman experience and it makes all quests very realistic, which is always a major plus.
Combat is pretty much the same from those previous entries in the series and even if there are some new enemies, the game does a great job when it comes to integrating them seamlessly into the story at key moments. You have watchtowers and a whole bunch of cool stuff however you also get the ability to use stuff like the Feat Takedown which is an intense mechanic that offers immense opportunities and stellar gameplay.
Combos can be made as you would expect, by chaining attacks and they can lead to incredibly rewarding results. It’s really nice how everything manages to add up in this title and the more you play the better the outcome will actually be.
I am very impressed with the fact that you get to play alongside Robin and others, but at the same time the game does integrate some nice mechanics and fun moments even if it lacks multiplayer. Challenges are nice to go through and they do add up a very rewarding experience even if you finished the main story.
Graphics are amazing for this game and you will see that the more you play the more fun this title becomes. It’s just a pleasure to check it out and that’s what matters the most here. Just focus on solving quests and having fun then you will see that the game will have a lot to offer, especially when it comes to the visual standpoint.
At the end of the day, Batman: Arkham Knight is an interesting title and even if the PC launch was disastrous, it still manages to offer some of the best superhero experiences out there. We recommend you to check it out right now so don’t hesitate and give it a shot, you will not be disappointed!
