World Championship of Street Fighter V will be streamed on ESPN

In a press release by ESPN it is announced that the World championship of the Street Fighter V is going to be live broadcasted on their streaming platforms - ESPN2 and WatchESPN.

Street Fighter has been running in us gamers for close to a decade as it was one of the first competitive game we have tried. This time around, the current popular edition – Street Fighter V is set to make us all proud as in a press release by ESPN, it is announced that the World championship of the game title is going to be live broadcasted on their streaming platforms - ESPN2 and WatchESPN.

John Lasker from ESPN said -"The Street Fighter V World Championship will be one of the must-see competitions from the Evo finals. We are always exploring ways to serve the growing and passionate audience of competitive gaming, and we look forward to deliver this event to fans."

The World Championship of Street Fighter V is set to be organized at Evolution Championship Series (Evo) from 15th-17th July in Las Vegas. The event will also host competitions of other game titles, like Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mortal Kombat X.

ESPN has been increasingly taking interest in covering esports for quite some time as previously the World Championship of other game title like Dota 2 and Heros of Storm was also broadcasted on their streaming platforms. This announcement will definitely effect the growth of the esports in general.
