Day one of Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016 has concluded with only two of the major conferences taking place. The day grabbed a lot of attention all thanks to the series of leaks. Dead Rising 4, ReCore, Dishonored 2, Titanfall 2, FIFA 17 – none of the announcements were spared. Good thing was that Bethesda was prepared with an entire arsenal to surprise the audience even after those leaks. Here are some of the highlights of Day 1 of E3 2016.
An amazing comeback showcase for Titanfall 2
Earlier today a leak surfaced revealing details of the single player campaign of the game and it was speculated that Bethesda won’t be able to recover from it. However they had much more to offer as they revealed details of the game’s multiplayer features during the conference. The footage shown in the conference revealed details about various features like new abilities, new titans and an amazing environment. Titanfall 2 will feature a deep progressive system and an offline single player campaign mission.
Titanfall 2 is set to be released on 28th October on Xbox, PC and PS4 platforms.
EA reveals an all new type of campaign mode for FIFA 2017
EA has made some massive changes for their upcoming release of the FIFA franchise. The game will follow a storyline of a player named Alex Hunter who is an amateur and is currently working his way towards the top of the Premier League. FIFA 2017 will also feature an Active Intelligence system, Pushback Technology for physical confrontations and many other gameplay changes. The game is set to hit the market on 29th September for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC platforms.
Mass Effect: Andromeda gameplay footage revealed
EA has finally revealed the breath-taking gameplay footage of Mass Effect: Andromeda. The footage showcases the wonder world of the game with unique combat scenes and an unimaginably beautiful environment. Bioware has certainly given their best to boost the gaming experience to such heights. However further information is expected to be revealed sometime during the expo.
More teasing for Battlefield fans
EA DICE has already created quite a lot of hype for their upcoming release for Battlefield franchise. They maintained the same level of excitement at the conference with the unveiling of an all new vehicle, the zeppelins which will dominate the sky. However as the game is based on World War 1 era, most of the combat will still be based on trench warfare. Additionally, DICE showcased on live a multiplayer game between 64 players taken randomly from the audience, which made it care that it is going to be an even crazier experience for the fans who can get their hands on the game on 21st October.
Elder Scrolls 5 to be remastered: Skyrim special edition
It was an interesting choice for Bethesda to remaster the already amazing Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim, the Skyrim special edition. As showcased in the conference the game will have a lot of graphics and texture enhancements. On top of that this time around Bethesda has made the game compatible with both PS4 and Xbox. Players who are owning the game and its DLCs on Steam will receive the special edition for free when released on 28th October.
Dishonored 2 to receive major update: new skills and graphics enhancements
It seems like Bethesda has emphasized a lot on the graphical enhancements for all of their featured games, and Dishonored 2 was not left out of the list. In addition to that the game will also receive some gameplay upgrades, like the new Domino and Shadow Walk skills for Emily Caldwin. The game is currently available on pre-order, which by the way will ensure a free copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition.
Fallout 4 to be made VR compatible by 2017
In another explosive announcement Bethesda has revealed their plans of getting Fallout 4 VR compatible on HTC Vive by 2017. Additionally the game is set to receive major updates in the upcoming months and fans can explore the new storyline, the Nuka World in the month of August.
DOOM to receive Unto the Evil DLC soon
Fallout is not the only game to receive VR compatibility as Bethesda has also included the recently released DOOM in the list. In addition to that the game is set to receive DLC pack in a few months by the name Unto the Evil which will include a lot of new things like maps, weapons and an all new Demon Rune too.
