Sony has confirmed that the much awaited No Man’s Sky, one of their most ambitious game till date, will be delayed for its release for another 2 months.

Sony has confirmed that the much awaited No Man’s Sky, one of their most ambitious game till date, will be delayed for its release for another 2 months.

Sean Murray, director of Sony said, “As we approached our final deadlines, we realized that some key moments needed extra polish to bring them up to our standards. I have had to make the tough choice to delay the game for a few weeks to allow us to deliver something special.”

No Man’s Sky has created an enormas hype, not only inside the gaming community, but also in the mainstream user base. As mentioned during the unveiling, the game will contain as much as 2 Billion years worth of content. It will have various detailing, like languages for the aliens whom the players will interact with.

The new schedule for the launch of the game is set for 9th August and expected to arrive on PC and PlayStation platforms.
