Reports confirm Microsoft working on VR games

Ars Technica has reportedly confirmed that a well-known European studio is currently working on game based on virtual reality for Xbox One platform. The report adds that the game is scheduled to release next year and will be showcased in the upcoming annual edition of E3.

Now the interesting fact about the report is that the current model of Xbox One is not even VR compatible, however there has been numerous rumors of Microsoft launching a VR enabled new edition of Xbox One. If the report is considered true it indirectly confirms the rumors being true.

The report however doesn’t reveal the name of the developer studio and the title of the game, but it says the company is a "well-known European studio" and the game is "set in the universe of an established, long-running franchise."
