According to a listing present on the popular game retailer website, the GameStop, it has been claimed that the upcoming release of Call of Duty franchisee, the Infinite Warfare will feature the popular chain-based movement system, like the double-jumps, wall-running, knee-slide and so far and so on.

This however contradicts to the clarification Activision made after a trailer was leaked before the official announcement. They went on the say that the upcoming title’s multiplayer would provide fans with an “evolution of Call of Duty‘s movement system,”. However they restrained from revealing further details.

Later on the developing studio, Infinite Ward went on to explain that players who are familiar with the recent releases will be comfortable with the controls.

Now considering the fact the Infinite Warfare will feature map geography placed in outer space, the chain-based movement system does fit quite well and most of the avid fans won’t mind the monotonicity. However the developers at Infinity Ward will need to be careful not to totally emulate features releases.
