ESL, in partnership with NODWIN Gaming, has announced India’s first ever annual mega event, ESL India Premiership. The event will host three LAN events and numerous qualifiers throughout the year with a monumental prize pool of more than INR 42 Lacs in cash prizes.

The event will host three LAN events and numerous qualifiers throughout the year with a monumental prize pool of more than INR 42 Lacs in cash prizes. Following are the details of the event: 

Tournament Structure and Schedule

ESL India Premiership has a three tier tournament structure extending from May till December. The bottom of the hierarchy depicts two clusters of starter online qualifiers. Each cluster contains three separate starter cups, followed by a LAN final. Prior to the LAN event players will have an ultimate opportunity to qualify for the LAN event through an open qualifier. Winners and runner-ups of the Starter Cups and the Open Qualifiers will huddle for the championship crown at both the LAN events, called the Challenger Cups. Additionally a top international team will be invited for each of the Challengers. The teams finishing as Top four in the Challengers will advance to the penultimate LAN event, named the Masters. Prize Money

The Premiership will host four game titles: DOTA 2, Counter Strike: Global Offence, HearthStone and Just Dance. A total of INR 42 Lacs is allotted for the entire event while the podium finishers of all the qualifiers and the LAN events will be awarded a share of the prize money. Coverage

The tournament will be covered live on ESL India Premiership Twitch Channel. Live coverage of at least one match of the Starter Cups of DOTA 2, CS: GO and HearthStone will be broadcasted every day from 7 pm to 10 pm IST. For the LAN events, on site coverage will be provided for the entire duration of the event. Additionally videos and contents will be updated daily to further ensure you can relive all the special moments during the event.

LAN Venues

The venues for the first Challenger is yet to be set between either of Mumbai or Hyderabad, while the second Challenger is confirmed to be held in Bangalore. Finally, the grand finals of Masters will be organized at the capital city Delhi.
